About the Job
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Grounds & Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, and perform lawn and plant care applications for residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.
- Install, maintain, and repair outdoor lighting systems to enhance property aesthetics and safety.
- Apply lawn and plant care treatments, including fertilization, herbicides, and soil amendments, to promote healthy landscapes.
- Inspect and stock the company truck with necessary tools, equipment, and materials daily.
- Review and complete service tickets accurately using our Mobile App, documenting notes, products, and materials used.
- Operate equipment safely and adhere to all safety protocols on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to maintain strong relationships.
- Keep trucks, yard, and work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of fieldwork experience in irrigation and outdoor lighting systems.
- Proficiency in using tools for testing and troubleshooting irrigation and lighting systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various landscaping settings and handle landscaping materials safely.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with technology, including mobile apps.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Commitment to practicing safety in all work circumstances.
